Accessing the coFood Collaborative Garden
Seating
A limited number of ground-level-access seats are available for folks attending with mobility devices.
Most seats are wooden chairs or benches, accessed by going down several brick stairs and weaving through wood-mulch pathways. Please bring cushions and blankets to make yourself more comfortable.
Ground Level Access
Guests will enter the garden at ground level through the entrance on East 4th Avenue, which is accessible for many folks attending with strollers or mobility supports.
Washrooms
There is a single-stall, all gender, wheelchair-accessible washroom on the ground level of the building next door.
Bikes
Bike racks are available at the building next door, on East 4th Avenue.
Parking
There is free street parking nearby, but please come early if you are driving. It can take time to find a spot, and it may be a few blocks away from the garden.
Additional Access Needs
The needs of folks with hearing impairments are important to us, and in time we’d like to build capacity for ASL interpretation at our events.
Please notify us in advance of your accessibility needs by emailing hello@cofoodvancouver.com, and we will do our best to meet your requests.
COVID Safety
There are 30 garden seats available, with room for space between groups. Please bring your hand sanitizer, and feel free to wear a mask!
