Accessing the coFood Collaborative Garden
A limited number of ground-level-access seats are available for folks attending with mobility devices. Please notify us in advance of your accessibility needs by emailing hello@cofoodvancouver.com, and we will do our best to meet your requests.
Most seats are wooden chairs or benches, accessed by going down several brick stairs and weaving through wood-mulch pathways. Please bring cushions and blankets to make yourself more comfortable.
The garden may be accessed at the ground level through an entrance on 4th Avenue for folks attending with strollers or mobility devices. Please contact us in advance, since these seats are limited.
There is a single-stall, all gender, wheelchair-accessible washroom on the ground level of the building next door.
There is free street parking nearby, but please come early if you are driving. It can take time to find a spot, and it may be a few blocks away from the garden.
For folks with EMF sensitivities, please be aware that there are WiFi signals in the garden from neighbouring buildings.
The needs of folks with hearing impairments are important to us, and in time we’d like to build capacity for ASL interpretation at our events.
COVID Safety
RSVP to attend. There are 30 seats available, with room for space between groups. Please bring your hand sanitizer, and feel free to wear a mask!
Please stay home if you are sick, have been recently ill, or have been in contact with someone who is ill. You may contact us at hello@cofoodvancouver.com to notify us before the event.
